The most valuable part of the diamond compact bit is the cutting teeth in its working face. Because the cutting teeth in the diamond composite bit are polycrystalline diamond composite, and it is sintered in the environment of high temperature and high pressure, so the characteristics of diamond composite chip are relatively hard, but very brittle. Therefore, diamond bit is one of the relatively expensive vulnerable parts in underground engineering and geological exploration. This requires us to be careful in the packaging, transportation and use of diamond compact bits to prevent the "accidental injury" of diamond clad bits.
In addition, diamond compact bit is suitable for drilling in soft, medium and hard rock strata. When encountering different geological strata, the corresponding diamond clad bit should be used. Otherwise, the cutting teeth of the bit will be seriously worn, but the drilling speed will be reduced.

In addition, the first time to use them should be run in at a low speed for at least 30 minutes.
